Using the calculators without an account

You can use every calculator and the Shipment Planner without an account. The values you enter are sent to our server to perform the calculation and are not saved to an account.

To keep your work while you move between pages, the Shipment Planner stores its inputs in your browser's local storage, and calculators pass cargo to each other through your browser's session storage. Your light or dark theme choice is also kept in local storage. This data stays on your device; you can remove it by clearing your browser's site data.

Imported CSV and Excel files are read to build a preview and are not kept after the request.

Information we collect with an account

• Account details: your name, email address and a securely hashed password.
• Saved work: the products, shipments, pallet plans, load plans and freight quotes you choose to save.
• Emails: we send messages needed to run your account, such as email verification and password reset links.

Contact form

When you send a message through the contact form, your name, email address, topic and message are emailed to us so we can reply. They are not stored in your account.

Cookies

We use only the cookies needed for the site to work: a session cookie, a security token that protects forms against cross-site request forgery, and, if you choose "remember me" when logging in, a cookie that keeps you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies.

Server logs and security

Like most websites, our servers record technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and errors. We use it to keep the service secure and working, including limiting repeated requests. Sessions are stored on our server.

How we use information

We use your information to provide the calculators and your saved workspace, to secure the service and to contact you about your account. We do not sell your information. Your saved workspace is private to your account.

Keeping and deleting information

Saved items stay in your account until you delete them. You can delete products, shipments, plans and quotes from the dashboard at any time. To close your account or ask for a copy of your data, send us a message through the contact form.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page if the way we handle information changes.
